Rev. Veron Linzie

Rev. Veron Linzie is the Assistant Pastor of Galilee Baptist Church. He was raised in Oakland, CA. After graduation from High school he attended California State University, Hayward, California where he graduated with a double major and received his baccalaureates in: Sociology and Speech communications, Organizational Public Relations. Rev. Linzie is also a graduate of Bay Cities Bible Institute, Oakland, California. He was ordained in 1973 by the late Rev. George L Byrd, Pastor of the Greater Emanual Baptist Church, Oakland , California. Rev. Linzie relocated to Trenton, NJ in 1991 where he joined Galilee Baptist Church. He is a counselor and motivator of people toward positive change. One of his motto is "be the best you can for the Lord." He is currently working on his Master's of Divinity Degree at New Brunswick Theological Seminary in New Brunswick, NJ. Recently he was elected president of the Association of Black Seminarians for the 2013-2014 Academic year. One of his favorite Strictures is: "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Rev. Linzie believes in outreach and Evangelism and says that his greatest responsibility of the church is to help fulfil the great commission (Matthew 28:18-10).
