Evangelist Kimme Carlos

As a strong advocate for addiction and brain disorder awareness and recovery, Kimme Carlos is a speaker, facilitator, and author of the book, The Window of Grace: Living in Recovery Through Christian Faith. She is a board member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Mercer County NJ, where she is also a certified facilitator for the nationally known National Alliance on Mental Illness program, Family to Family. Kimme is also Board Treasurer with The Center for Family, Community, and Social Justice in Princeton, NJ. She was honored in 2009 as New Jersey’s Woman of the Year by the Garden State Woman Education Foundation for her dedicated volunteer work. Kimme has given numerous talks and discussion groups on brain disorders with a specific focus on addiction, anxiety disorders, depression, and suicide ideology. Kimme is a graduate of Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Psychology, and is an Evangelist at Galilee Baptist Church in Trenton, NJ. Kimme Carlos has two children and five grandchildren. She lives in New Jersey and is currently writing her second book.
