Rev. Marc Freeman was born in Trenton, NJ and raised in Levittown, PA. He is a third generation Galilean who gave his life to Christ at age 10. As a youth he sang in the choir, and participated in a number of church ministries. Rev. Freeman was educated in the Pennsbury School System in Pennsylvania. He holds three degrees; a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Communications from East Stroudsburg University a Master of Social Work from Temple University, and a Master of Divinity/Master of Social Work from Palmer Theological Seminary. Currently he is a PhD student in Temple University's Urban Education program. In February 2009 Rev. Freeman started a new ministry called PASS. The name stands for Preparing African-American Students for Success. The ministry provides free after school tutoring and meals for children. Rev. Freeman is also the director of Youth Prevention, a ministry that seeks to provide positive anti-drug and alcohol activities for youth. Also Rev. Freeman is the director of the Galilee’s Senior Computer Classes. Rev. Freeman is currently employed by the Trenton Board of Education as a Family Intervention Therapist. In this capacity he seeks to reduce problems in adolescents by strengthening their families. In October of 2008 he married the former Melody Clemons. Together they are the proud parents of three children: Brittany, Christopher and Daniel. Rev. Freeman truly loves the Lord and is aware of the many blessings he has received. His favorite Scripture is Ecclesiastes 3:1 "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."
