Rev. Dr. John H. Harris, Jr

Rev. Dr. John H. Harris was called to the gospel ministry over 50 years ago. His mission is to enlighten people to the promise of Jesus Christ so that they may have life and have it more abundantly and also to save the lost by preaching and reaching out to the masses for Christ. Rev. Dr. Harris is married to his wife Delois Harris with whom he shares six children. He was born in Trenton, NJ and raised in El Dorado, AR. Rev. Dr. Harris was ordained to the Gospel Ministry on February 20, 1977 and served as pastor for 12 years in Arkansas. He then headed north again in June of 1987 after receiving his calling to pastor the Galilee Baptist Church of Trenton, NJ. He has pastored the Galilee Baptist Church for over 30 years leading the church in its service to the community for decades. In his commitment to serve the community, Rev. Dr. Harris serves as the current president of the Concerned Pastors and Ministers of Trenton and Vicinity. Concerned Pastors’ mission is to promote programs and policies that will help to improve the quality of life for Mercer County residents giving Pastor Harris the opportunity to speak to the masses and further spread the word of God
